Aleem Dar is officiating the first test match between India and England. So far Aleem Dar has done well in the center. There was only one decision which was altered by the third umpire against Aleem’s decision. Rest is everything all good for Aleem Dar. The Indian team is happy with his decisions. Now in the first innings the left arm pacer Sam Curran who is the brother of Tom Curran was the show to watch. The pacer was brilliant with his speed, line and length. He picked up four wickets in the first innings and there is no doubt that he was a delight to watch in the center. Sam not only got the ball to swing but also as his pace was high the Indian batsmen got all the difficulties in playing against him. He troubled the Indian batting line and the ball he bowled to Pandya and took him lbw out was definitely one of the best balls bowled in the game so far.

After years we have seen a pace bowler from England who can swing the ball both ways and is very dangerous. Sam is definitely a good bowler and he clocks 90 mph which is a speed which can be devastating as well. The ball he bowled to Pandya made a lot of fans remember the era of Wasim Akram. The former Pakistani skipper and the best left arm pace bowler in the history of cricket was known to bowl such balls. It was a in swinging yorker from Sam. Again a very high paced delivery. The line and length of this ball was perfect. It came into the right hander in the air. The ball hit the toe first of Pandya and then his bat. It was a pretty close decision. Many of the umpires would have struggled on this decision but not Aleem Dar. He took his time and then raised his finger.

This was an absolute Jaffa from the pace bowler. Aleem Dar gave it out. The Indian batting pair did not go for the referral. Pandya knew that the ball hit his toe first and he would be in trouble as well if he went for the review. So he opted out not to waste the review which was a good decision. At the moment the game is evenly poised between the two sides. England could have easily managed a good lead from the first innings if they had taken all the catches. Kohli was dropped thrice and he scored 149. Now this is something which cannot make teams win if they continuously drop their catches. This is what the England commentators are saying as well. England should have and could have taken a firm grip on the game after the first innings but they could not at all. Now there is a strong chance for India as well that they could take away this game from the hosts.
