شرجیل خان کا جب دنیا کے تیز ترین فاسٹ بولر شعیب اختر سے ہوا تو وہ ہوا جو کسی نے سوچا بھی نہ تھا۔ویڈیو دیکھیں

Sharjeel Khan could have been a big name in Pakistan cricket but just like Amir, Salman and Asif he too fell into the dark world of spot fixing and now is serving a ban. No player has ever come up as the same after being hit with these spot fixing matter. Mohammad Amir is the prime example of it. The pacer was picking up wickets in a huge number in every game that he was playing across all three formats. But then he went to England the spot fixing episode happened and Amir was out for five years. Now he is back in cricket since more than two years and he is not that lethal anymore. In any other team he could have been dropped from the team by now. He does not pick up wickets regularly now. We can all hope that he comes back to the form which he had years back.

PCB and team management were looking towards Sharjeel Khan as their main opener who can attack the ball in all three formats and for this even Sharjeel was played a test match in Australia as well. He was certain to become the David Warner of Pakistan but that did not happen. Sharjeel Khan is a clean hitter of the cricket ball and there is no denial in it. We have seen him batting in the limited overs cricket and his records show that. In fact he is the second highest scorer for Pakistan in an ODI game after Saeed Anwar. So his talent and batting skills are definitely strong. The only problem is that now he is serving a ban and when he will be back would he be able to bat like he used to in the past or he will become another Mohammad Amir. This is a major issue.

Sharjeel Khan here is seen batting against the likes of Shoaib Akhtar. Now Sharjeel played with confidence against Shoaib. He did not lose his confidence while facing the fastest bowler in the cricket history and even played his shots when Shoaib delivered a few loose deliveries. Sharjeel first defended a few balls on the leg side. Shoaib darted those ball towards the body as expected but the left hander managed them really well. He defended the ball with a much straighter bat and hence he was able to make sure the ball does not fly to any fielder in the form of an edge. Then he timed one on the off side. This was a length ball and Sharjeel did not lose the opportunity to hit this ball in the gap on the off side and gather his first boundary here.
