Peshawar: Pakistan T20 captain Shahid Afridi has always been around when it comes to charity works and yesterday he announced 5 million Rs donation for the earthquake victims in Pakistan.
Shahid Afridi visited the Lady reading hospital in Peshawar yesterday. The all-rounder met with the administration of the hospital and later spent some hours with the injured people.
Afridi before leaving talked to the media and said that his organization Shahid Afridi Foundation is working day and night in the affected areas and trying their best to rescue as many people as possible.
He also donated a handsome amount of 5 million for the cause and said that he will keep on monitoring the whole evacuation process by his organization.
Pakistan was jolted by a massive 8.1 magnitude earthquake yesterday. The devastation has still not been measured exactly because of the terrain. But as per the resources nearly 300 people have lost their lives and around 2000 have been reported injured till now.
