England are on a role against Australia as they finish up taking all five ODI games against the arch rivals. Australia had nightmares in both batting and bowling against the English side. It seems that England are well prepared for their chances in the next world cup. England in both batting and bowling departments in looking really strong. They have batsmen in form like openers Roy and Hales. In the middle order Morgan is in a good touch and then in the late middle order they have got Buttler who can hit the ball hard and long and we have seen that in the recent past. Buttler had a fantastic IPL leading to this five game ODI series. The whole English batting line has fired runs in this series. It was not like a couple of batsmen hitting runs only but the whole unit step in and scored runs.

The advantage will be with England as they will be playing the next world cup on their home grounds. This is something which every side wants. The crowd support will be with England off course and hence the moral of the whole team will be sky high in that event. The spin bowling department in England with Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid operating is really good. Moeen once again picked up four wickets in the game. He had a good series with the ball. He could not get much runs but being an all-rounder he is doing his job either with the bat or the ball. So this England side is definitely a strong contender for the next world cup to be played next year.

In the final ODI there was a time when it was looking as if the Australians might get away with this one final game. But that too did not happen and the Englishmen gave it a real fight at the end and took out the final match as well. Buttler hit a splendid hundred for his side. Now one dismissal that of Australian spinner Ashton Agar can easily sum up the batting condition of the Australian unit. He left out a straight in ball from Curran. The second wicket in ODI cricket for Curran did not cost him much pain. He bowled a regular ball to the left hander and somehow Agar managed to just leave this ball. It was obvious that he failed to read the length of the ball. He thought the ball was pitched at a length that would carry it over the wickets which off course was not the case. The ball was short but not that short to jump over the stumps. At the end the ball just tarnished the stumps and the commentators were absolutely stunned on this no shot. Australians are definitely under a lot of pressure against England in this series. Now they will be looking for the t20 format cricket.
