Heera Group announced as title sponsors of T10 League

The inaugural edition of the T10 League is all set to get underway this month in U.A.E. T10 Cricket League promises to be a powerpacked 4-day tournament with some unique new rules. There will be six teams battling it out for the trophy in the tournament.

In a event held couple of days ago in India, the Heera Group of Hyderabad bagged the rights to be the title sponsors of the tournament.

The recent reports confirmed the news about the Hyderabad-based company taking the title sponsorship for the inaugural edition of the tournament. The league will feature several big names including the likes of Shahid Afridi, Virender Sehwag, and Eoin Morgan.

At the launch event of the league in India, Dalip Singh Rana, the popular WWE wrestler from India who is famous with the ring name The Great Khali, expressed his excitement. He said that he loves to follow the game very closely.

“I have never played cricket. I didn’t get an opportunity to play, but love watching cricket and follow various matches. I wish this tournament a grand success,” quoted Dalip Singh Rana.

The brains behind the tournament were also present at the event.

“Around 100 current top cricketers and some young and budding talent are part of this exciting maiden League. It’s a South Asian League of six teams of which two teams are from India and two from Pakistan. Since the duration is short, the thrust will be on big shots to reach big total in the shortest time; only players with the talent to hit big shots will be part of this tournament,” quoted league innovator Shaji-ul-Mulk.
