Pakistan Women defeats New Zealand Women in 3rd ODI

In the 3rd ODI of the ICC Women’s Championship at Sharjah, Pakistan Women successfully chased the target of 156 to defeat New Zealand Women and register their first ever victory against them.

Pakistan Women, after losing the first two ODIs, bounced back brilliantly. After losing the toss, Pakistan Women were put in to bowl first. Their bowlers did a brilliant job as they bowled out New Zealand for just 155 inside 44 overs.

From Pakistan, Sana Mir starred with the ball as she took 4 wickets for just 25 runs. While Sadia Yousuf took 2 wickets for just 23 runs in 10 overs.

While chasing, Pakistan Women started well, but kept on losing wickets, before eventually chasing down the target of 156 in 48.4 overs, at the loss of 5 wickets. Bismah Maroof top scored with 36, while Sidra Ameen scored 32.
