Shahzad all set to get dropped from ODI and T20I squad

Pakistan Cricket Board’s selection committee has decided to drop the opening batsman Ahmad Shehzad from the proposed three-match t20I series against West Indies, according to the GEO News.

According to the sources, the decision was taken after taking into consideration Shehzad’s poor batting performances during the series vs. Sri Lanka last month.

Soruces further confirmed that the selection committee with the consent of head coach Mickey Arthur has finalised the 14-member squad for the proposed West Indies series; the committee has further proposed Arthur to give chance to all-rounder Aamir Yameen or Muhammad Nawaz in the coming series.

The right-hand batsman scored 27, 22 in the two T20I matches vs. Sri Lanka respectively after he miserably failed in the ODI series as well where his score in two respective matches were 0 and 8.
