Yasir thrilled after dismissing Cook

Yasir Shah was thrilled the most and he surely deserves all the excitement. He was Pakistan’s trump card and it worked right at the end of the third session for Pakistan. Yasir Shah catches the big fish, English captain Alastair Cook is back in the pavilion.

Cook who was lucky to have survived a very close call, his attempted sweep shot took the ball crawling away towards the bottom of the middle stump. The ball hit the stump but the bails didn’t come off and he survived.

This time he was not lucky. Yasir trapped him with a magnificent plan. Cook countered Yasir on the leg side most of the times today. Yasir placed a leg slip for an aerial shot.

The plan worked when Cook attempted one and couldn’t hold on to his shot. The ball went off the edge of the bat and straight into the hands of substitute fielder Ahmad Shahzad at leg slip. He had no plans of missing that dolly.

Cook couldn’t believe his shot. He wanted to take England to a safe ending for the day but he himself perished away. Pakistan once again dominates the proceedings.

Yasir and Misbah worked their way out against Cook. The captain was also much thrilled and tapping his bowler on the back. Some great thinking from Yasir and Misbah.

The captain backed his bowler completely and Yasir delivered to him the precious wicket of Cook. Now everyone knows why Misbah was missing his ace striker in the first game
