Pakistan’s profilic all-rounder, Mohammad Hafeez underwent biomechanics tests to get his bowling action checked in England on Wednesday.
Hafeez was reported for a suspected bowling action after Pakistan’s 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. This was the second time he was reported for suspect bowling action and it came within 24 months of the initial suspension in December 2014, he was suspended from bowling in international cricket for a year.
Hafeez was asked to bowl 24 deliveries and the test lasted for 90 minutes. The report on the bowling tests will be available in 14 days, and will be sent to ICC and the PCB. Till then, the allrounder is allowed to bowl.
Mohammad Hafeez was hopeful that he will get his bowling action cleared.
“IN SHAA ALLAH, I am very confident to get clear this test , as I m bowling with same remodeled bowling action since I got cleared by ICC,” Hafeez had posted on his twitter profile before the tests.
