Fawad Alam to make his international comeback

fawad alam comeback

Left handed middle order batsman, Fawad Alam, is all set to make his comeback to international cricket soon. And this time in test cricket after a very, very long gap.

Alam has been a exceptional performer in the domestic circuit in the last couple of years. However, he never could grab the attention of the national selectors. There have always been talks about his comeback but the moment has not quite arrived yet for him.

Fawad Alam’s comeback and his career has always been controversial. National selectors were always slammed for ignoring him, and Fawad himself was accused of poor fitness. But the player kept on performing and feels like it is finally the time for him.

About his recent performance, Fawad Alam had hit an excellent ton in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy against the UBL side. He had hit an unbeaten 123 with the help of 13 boundaries.

On the other hand, the dark clouds continue to hover over the selection of two other veteran cricketers – Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif. Both Asif and Butt were found guilty of spot fixing in the 2010, but both have served their bans and are waiting for their moment to comeback.
