Brendon McCullum, the selfless captain of PSL team Lahore Qalandars, has expressed confidence in the team performing well in the third edition of Pakistan Super League next year.
In an exclusive video message, Brendon said that he’s excited to see the new recruits of Lahore Qalandars and the squad has a good blend of experienced and young cricketers.
“I welcome all the new recruits to the Lahore Qalandars,” said the 36-year-old.
“I am absolutely excited about the squad that we have got, I think we have a good mix of youth and experienced players. We have got the squad made of guys who like to play attacking cricket and fearless cricket as well and also the selfless cricket,” he said.
Brendon was also excited about the Chris Lynn’s signing.
“To me, he (Chris Lynn) is the most exciting T20 batsman in the world at the moment and it’s fantastic that he’s going to join our ranks.”
“He’s the guy whom all our fans in Lahore would look forward to watching and look forward to bringing him in the squad,” he added.
“This could be a big year for us, we are going to play exciting cricket and we hope that you will enjoy,” he said to the fans.
“The Qalandars is a family as we known and we wish you guys all the very best for whatever the future hold for you with other teams you all have played a huge part for the Qalandars,” Brendon concluded.
