Pakistan’s biggest first class tournament, Quaid-E-Azam trophy is underway and we are witenessing some interesting matches.

Till now, Quaid-E-Trophy has been all about bowlers and it has been extremely difficult for batsmen to score runs. At LCCA, there have been two instences of 17 wickets falling in a single day and today, 16 wickets fell at the same venue.

In the match between KRL and PTV, KRL bowled out the strong PTV team for just 37 runs. PTV was bowled out in 17.3 overs and their innings lasted only 89 minutes, which is one of the shortest innings in the history of Pakistan’s FC Cricket.

As the result of such poor performances, PTV lost as KRL defeated them by 4 wickets in hand.

In the other QeA Trophy news, the out-of-form Umar Akmal, who was banned for 3 matches during the cup scored a century against HBL – Habib Bank Limited’s team. Umar scored 116 as he looks to be back in form and his team finished on 309 all out.
